Hello hello, my name is Dairah Castricum and for this project I am going to investigate the wildfires in Australia.
I choose this topic because in 2020 there were very violent wildfires in Australia.
I’m going to tell you the next points in this article:

• How do you extinguish the wildfires?
Let’s start with the first point, how do wildfires start?.
A wildfire can start if a high temperature occurs locally; enough to create a source of fire.
This can happen because there are people who play with fire and a violent fire starts or, for example, because lightning strikes.
The reason why large wildfires start very often also has to do with the climate. The earth heats up in this way, so that the temperature on earth also rises. And actually, humans are the only ones who can do something about it.
It is also so that people on earth build factories that emit gases that warm the earth and thus cause natural disasters. This is also the case with natural disasters.
Conclusion, the people are the only ones who cause all those disasters, but they are also the ones who can stop global warming.

The next point is about how you can stop the fire.
You can fight a wildfire by spraying the forest wet so that the wood burns more difficult. Because forests are quite big is not always possible. When there is a forest fire, it is sometimes decided to cut part of the forest. Then the fire cannot spread further. Here too, it is often difficult, because forests can take up so much area. Unfortunately, it is often too late to stop a forest fire. After all, once a forest is on fire, it goes super fast. When there is a strong wind, a forest fire can spread at 60 kilometers per hour. Fortunately, a whole team is ready to extinguish the fire. And if a fire has started somewhere, they are the first to serve you with all their might!
