Our trip starts by the Kelvingrove art gallery.
This art gallery is open for visitors since 1901. In the museum you can explore 22 galleries, all galleries consists of art and animals. It’s so very very big! The museum is free, but you can do a guided tour. That cost £7. The museum closes around 5 pm and we think we will see the art there for about 1.5 hours.
Then we drive on to bothwell castle this super old castle was build begun 13th by Walter de Moravia. And now you can visit this old castle. From Glasgow it is 24 minutes with a car. The museum closes around 4 pm,
we think we are going to see this beautiful castle for about 1 hour. After we have seen the castle we go for a lunch, by cafe jollytots & cookies. We al take the soup of the day with bread of a crusty roll, that lunch costs £ 2,00 per person, so in total £ 8,00. At the end of the afternoon we go to a theater royal the performance called the lion the witch and the wardrobe. It was a very cool performance and not normally cool costumes. The performance was at 5 pm and it was finished at 7 pm. Then we went looking for a restaurant nearby. Named
bel & the dragon, it was like a cute home with plants and flowers. Special on this restaurant is that it official an B&B is, but you can also dinner at the B&B. than we go back to our B&B!

Day 2:
Today we go first to the cathedral of Glasgow. This cathedral was built in the 13th century and is also called St Mungo’s Cathedral. This cathedral is one of the few that is still in good condition. People have been coming in since 1197. hen we drive on to world of wings. This is an activity in the theme of birds! There are various shows where (predatory) birds show what they have to offer, how nice is that?
Our journey continues to riverside museum. You can come to this museum for free, but you can also take a tour! Super interesting and you won’t miss a thing of the museum.
The day ends with a visit to M & D’s Scotland theme park. An amusement park full of fun adventures. Next to the amusement park is a Mac Donalds where we close the day and go back to the B&B.

Day 3:
Also today there is something really fun on the program! First we visit George square, George Square is the principal civic square in Glasgow. It is named after King George 3th. Laid out in 1781, today Glasgow Square is home to the headquarters of Glasgow City Council. It is so so beautiful there, it feels like you are a princess when you walk there. Than we go to a science store named Glasgow science centre. This center is all about science, it’s really cool to have a look! It’s like NEMO but in Scotland. Next to the center there is also a small cafe where if you buy a ticket you get a free drink. then we will do something active! namely a dance workshop, the dance teacher is a professional dancer named Emily Dodd, where we can do a workshop. It takes about 1.5, and then we go back to today’s last activity. he last of today we go to a shopping centre called Buchanan street in this street really does not miss a single store! you can even find hotels and restaurants. In total we have about 150 pounds in shopping money. In this street we also have dinner, we found a very nice sushi bar, and then back to the B&B.

Last day (day 4):
Today it’s already the last day 😦
We are going to end these days with a few awesome activities! First we are going to do an activity at the beach, because we are going to surf! Named clan surfs. We express surfing first activity because it gets very busy in the afternoon. We did this for 1.5 hours, certainly successful!
Now we are going to a zoo, with animals inside there. Named Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure Park. It’s so cool!
Then we are going to lunch something by the zoo, we all got hungry.
Then we ride to an escape room a fun, challenging game in Glasgow City Centre.
You can do it in group 2 – 6. the escape room takes about 1 hour. Then we are going to the restaurant with the most stars. So the end of the evening and back to the Netherlands!

The end:
this was my trip to Glasgow. I hope this was fun to read, and it shows that I did my best for this! Below are all prices for these 4 days.

Day 1 = £310 pounds
Day 2 = £129 pounds
Day 3 = £259 pounds
Day 4 = £679 pounds

What I have left with that 2000 pounds is 653 pounds, which is based on the costs we have for the rented car (petrol and parking).
